you are one now lila claire, and you truly are the most incredible person i've ever known. you are snuggly and chatty and fearless and proud. you love books and baths and blocks and pretty much any food you can get your hands on. you are walking and climbing and getting into all sorts of mischief these days, and i wouldn't have it any other way. your smile and little giggle brighten up the world. you are loved little girl. so very loved.

stephanie and brad were married this morning in a surprise ceremony (guests thought they were attending a graduation party as brad) in the mountains of kananaskis. i had the pleasure of meeting and photographing them a couple of weeks ago and the excitement for their upcoming wedding was thoroughly contagious -- i've been looking forward to posting their blog teasers ever since! i hope the two of you had a wonderful day with your friends and families today steph and brad :)

in somewhat related news (oddly enough!) we have a contest winner... next spring i will be shooting the family of suse and marco's flower girl and they'll receive an additional $200 product credit for their session!! hope you all had a wonderful halloween :) xox, andrea.

just packaging up this beautiful family's order to ship off today and i realized i hadn't yet blogged their session! i think miss gracie is, hands down, THE happiest baby i have ever met. interacting with, and photographing her was just a dream. looking forward to seeing you again one day little missy.

as promised, a quickie post while i'm away!

sabrina and ryan braved one of the first sub-zero days of the season for their session a few weeks back, and despite all of us just about perishing in the cold (ha!) i absolutely love the result. i'm so looking forward to their wedding next fall (but i'm crossing my fingers -- now that they've thawed -- for warmer temps ;)

luanne and andrew are getting married next spring. it shouldn't take long looking at these images to see why i'm so excited for their wedding -- these two are super cute, super stylish, and super fun. yay!

we're heading out to bc for a few days here but i have a mini post from my first session with SNOW (ew!) lined up and ready to go for while i am gone! all phone calls and emails will be replied to when i return to the office next wednesday. AND, hopefully by then we'll have figured out a winner to the contest! (it turns out quite a few of the entries were from people really far away who were just sharing what they are thankful for this year.) i totally LOVE the interest generated by this contest, and wish i could travel the thousands of miles to photograph everyone! i'll keep you all updated :) have a wonderful weekend! xox, andrea.
