.two hundred.

remember that contest i mentioned in my last post?? well the time is now! this is officially the two hundredth post on the pink sugar blog and i think it's about time i handed out a prize!!

up for grabs is a two hundred dollar product credit to be used on any future pink sugar session or wedding taking place in either 2009 or 2010!

and winning is easy! all you need to do is leave a comment below this post in the next week (before 10pm MDT on thursday october 15th) with one thing you are thankful for this year (in honour of this weekend's holiday) and you are entered into the contest! (if you don't already have a session or wedding booked, you will have the opportunity to finalize a booking before you claim your prize.) the winner will be chosen by random number generator once the contest ends and will be announced shortly thereafter!

to get things started (just in case the images below don't make it obvious), one of the things i am most thankful for this year is my healthy, beautiful, incredible baby girl :)

and a few more... i am thankful for family, for pumpkin pie blizzards, for a wonderful career, for next week's weather forecast and melting snow, for karen o and the kids, for mark, for friends old and new, and for grandparents. and last but not least, i'm thankful to all of you who have shared a little tidbit of your lives and your thanks with me this thanksgiving :) xox.

I am so thankful the human mind developed a tool (the Camera) that possesses the ability to capture life the instant it happens. Sometimes we miss the milliseconds of human emotion that exist within our 24hr day but the Camera gives us back that molecule of time and lets us keep it forever (well at least for as long as photopaper avoids acid erosion and CD's avoid corruption!) And photography isn't just about the moment, it's about perspective in the moment, how each of us, as individuals, perceive the world. When I look at your images Andrea I see glimpses of the world through your eyes and what you see is beautiful :)

Wow, what am I not thankful for..!?
Well since work was quite a difficult this week I am going to reflect on that and say I am thankful for my clients.

Thankful that they have so much life to keep going when things are not going the way as planned. Thankful that they have dreams and goals to someday be something they never thought of doing.
