.a new year.

first of all, happy new year!! i've missed you :)

if you don't follow my personal blog or if you missed the update on the facebook page, you may have been wondering where i have disappeared to over the last couple months, so here's a quick flashback to what's been happening in pinksugarland in the last quarter of 2013.

september: lila started kindergarten and ballet, mark worked on the deck, and we savoured the last bits of summer weather before fall.

october: we frolicked in and crafted with leaves, and filled our time preparing for and celebrating halloween.

november: the snow flew and we played in it, lila turned five and cole turned two.

december: a birthday party, a big announcement (and the main reason for my disappearance around these parts), and an abundance of holiday fun.

now it's january and time to get back on track and prepared for another amazing year for pink sugar photography. i have about a gazillion sessions and weddings from last year that i can't wait to share with all of you in the coming weeks (if anyone still comes here anymore after the radio silence over the last couple of months). with the new baby arriving in the spring, session and wedding availability is going to be quite limited for 2014 so if you'd like to get into the calendar, i'd definitely recommend your getting in touch sooner rather than later so we can chat further about making some photo magic happen :)

Stunning family photos - you really capture the 'feeling' in each photo its like being there looking at them... a lot of people try but not many can pull that off. Really tells a story... would make a good book/photo book

ALSO--you are quite creative with your home decor and art projects. The painted leaves, the leaves cut out as hearts, the buffalo plaid as tassels....and the double exposure silhouette?! Really?
